Rejected Cart Guide

If you have received a “REJECTED” note, it means our team is unable to accept your cart(s) for one or more of the following reasons. Per our terms of service, we may assess a fee for the rejected cart(s) on your next bill. Please resolve the issues before your next scheduled service day.

Too full

This cart is too full to move without significant spilling. In order for our team to tip and roll carts safely, the lid must easily and completely close, and there must be no liquids (such as soup) within the top 6 inches. Please transfer some of the waste from this cart to another.

Too heavy

This cart is too heavy for our team to move safely. Please transfer some of the waste from this cart to another.

Contamination

This cart contains excessive amounts of non-compostable trash. This may include: plastic bags, non-compostable cutlery, twist ties, or glass or metal material. Please review our composting guide for commercial customers, and remove contaminants from this cart.

Other

Our team should have written an explanation of the issue next to this option. For extra clarity, please reach out to commercial@littlegreenbucket.com – we can provide more context and help you to resolve the issue.
