A new recycling option in Albuquerque!
Since 2018, Little Green Bucket has proudly helped Albuquerque area residents compost millions of pounds of food waste, diverting it from landfills and enriching our soils.
But food scraps aren’t the only waste stream we care about, and that’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve teamed up with TerraCycle to bring you Zero Waste Bags.
With Zero Waste Bags, you can recycle the seemingly un-recyclable: plastic packaging, wires & cords, coffee pods, and other hard to recycle items. Close the loop and recycle what you couldn’t before — right from your doorstep, and right next to your compost bucket!

Hi, so just making sure I understand: If you want to recycle Styrofoam and dig food bags you need to order 2 large bags?
Thanks!
Hi Ellie – You got it 🙂 TerraCycle asks us to separate our waste types at the source, to help streamline the recycling process.
This is amazing! Thank you so much for doing this. I’m definitely in for doing this and thanks for making it so easy.
