In March of 2023 we relaunched our commercial program in order to expand the types of customers we can service. We’ll be relaunching this section of our website sometime in 2024. Pardon the messy page.
If your business or organization produces between 16 and 2000 gallons of food waste per week and you want to start composting with us, please email us at commercial@littlegreenbucket.com to receive a custom quote. Please provide the service address and your estimated weekly volume of food waste.
Smaller volume commercial customers (0 to 16 gallons per week) may participate in our bucket service, outlined below. We’ve temporarily disabled online registration for this plan, pending a redesign of this entire webpage, but if you send us an email we’ll start the intake process.
All commercial members of Little Green Bucket receive the following benefits:
- A site visit to evaluate your business’s food waste management needs
- An orientation/education session for your staff
- Your business listed on our website
- Discounted residential service for your employees
If your business is located outside our current service area, please email us at hello@littlegreenbucket.com to discuss your service options. Your business might be the missing piece that allows us to serve residents in your area as well, magnifying your impact.
Premium Bucket Service
Small businesses that only generate modest amounts of food waste can sign up for our Premium Bucket Service, which combines the simplicity of our residential service with the perks of commercial service. Put a bucket in each kitchen, break room, or coffee corner, and we’ll collect it once a week.
Pricing:
- $60/month for one 4 gallon bucket (serviced weekly)
- $20/month for each additional bucket (serviced weekly)
- One-time $75 setup fee
- If your business location is difficult to access due to parking restrictions, building security, or other constraints, we may assess a Location Access Fee.
- For very low volume offices, biweekly pickups will be considered and priced on a case-by-case basis.
Food Trucks / Food Pods / Popups
If you operate a food truck, food pod, or pop-up restaurant, the service options above may not meet your needs or budget, but we’re still very interested in talking to you about options for diverting your food waste from the landfill.
